New admissions application skyline college

Students attending high school may register concurrently for Skyline College classes. To get started, interested students must follow the Concurrent Enrollment Steps.

College Online Application

ALL new or former students applying to Skyline College must complete an online application to enroll in classes. Applications must be submitted online through CCCApply at https://www.opencccapply.net/gateway/apply?cccMisCode=373. Upon completion of the online application, a welcome email is sent with the username and a link to create a password for the student portal (WebSMART).

  1. FINANCIAL AID:
    Students who are US Citizens or Eligible Non-Citizens can apply for state and/or federal Financial Aid at www.fafsa.gov. Students who meet the AB540, AB2000, or SB68 exemption requirements can apply for the California Dream Act at www.caldreamact.org. Select Skyline College (school code 006673) as a recipient for the FAFSA.
  2. NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION:
    Skyline College offers online orientation to students which provides information about important college policies and procedures, specific information about certificate, degree and transfer goals, and useful resources that help students be successful in achieving their goals. Additional information about orientation can be found at https://www.skylinecollege.edu/orientation/ If you are one of the catagories below, you can skip this step:
    1. Taking Classes for Job Training/Personal Enrichment
    2. Taking Classes to Fulfill Another College's Requirements
    3. Student that has earned an Associates or higher degree from an accredited institution
    1. We will use the information you entered into CCCApply when you applied to Skyline College. This typically includes your overall High School Grade Point Average (GPA) and which English and Math courses you took in high school.
    2. If you did not submit this information in CCCApply, you can submit it (or update it) any time in WebSMART:
      • Go to WebSMART
      • Go to the top of the page and Click on the "Student" tab, and under the "Student Services" section, select the link for "Student Records"
      • In the "Student Records" page, select "High School Transcript Information"
      • Fill out the appropriate fields in this section.

    1. Develop/update your Student Education Plan (SEP)
      • New Students must meet with a counselor to receive a registration date for WebSMART
      • Continuing students must have a current SEP on file to be eligible for priority registration
    2. Discuss your academic progress
    3. Continue to learn about and use important student services that enhance student success
    4. Discuss any personal issues that may be impacting academic success
